I admire the choices the author made.
Someone told me I would cry at the end and I told them I can't remember the last time a book made me cry.
Needless to say, I was a sobbing wreck. But not depressed -- that's the key.
But most of all, I really respect that this author took risks. I think I cried out of a mix of emotions, one of them being frustration. And I've totally read books that have had rave reviews and then felt lonely afterwards when I said- "Really? I didn't love it that much..."
So you are in good company.

Thanks for stopping by!

kimberlybuggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16975047013177697298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-694526158872913561.post-32850164571928032822013-05-23T21:45:11.317-07:002013-05-23T21:45:11.317-07:00I have read all of the emotional, raving reviews f...I have read all of the emotional, raving reviews for this book and was so excited to finally get to it. I have to say, I just didn't find myself connected. Will fell short for me at the end and instead of feeling sorry for him, I felt angry. I thought I would cry also and found myself dry eyed even at the end of the book. I wonder if something is wrong with me?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00583880950039219245noreply@blogger.com
