Review:
One night, Callie stumbles upon Kayden, hurt and about to be broken. When she steps in, she doesn't realize that by doing so, she alters their relationship forever, and changes the course of their lives.
Callie isn't one to step in. She's fragile too, but she couldn't stand by and watch someone else in danger.
Kayden has since wondered about her, the girl who maybe saved his life.
When they run into each other at college, anything is possible.
But only if they allow themselves to trust each other.

This is my first Jessica Sorensen book and it won't be my last.
The characters' traumatic history were well developed and well written. Kayden and Callie have so much going for them, and against them. The intimate scenes were hot and sweet and I liked reading from each of their point of views.
The book was a quick read and I was sad when I had to put it down after my lunch break.

I've read a lot of books like this recently so I thought I wouldn't like this one as much as some of the past ones I've read. I was wrong.
I really enjoyed the story and the way Callie and Kayden helped each other heal. And Seth is a great BFF. His interactions between the friends adds fun, warmth and stability to these characters. Even though Seth has his own sad story, I liked his strength and his friendship with Callie. It showed the potential she has inside of her, if she can trust again.

But.. um, can we talk about the ending?! Abrupt, people.
Good thing the second book comes out soon!
