October is maybe my favorite month. Halloween, autumn leaves and pumpkins make it special but what also makes it special is it's my anniversary month with my hubby. I won't say how many years because it is frightening!

To celebrate, I'm going to be doing some great giveaways this month! At least once a week so check back often.

Bloggiesta!

Thanks to There's A Book and It's All About Books for hosting! You can follow the link to sign up and read about the Bloggiesta!

Well friends, I have been playing around with the idea of participating in Bloggiesta all week, but finally decided to give in once I realized this weekend in Los Angeles is Carmegeddon 2. Yes, that's right. We call it Carmegeddon. If you're unfamiliar with it, it's when the 405 freeway is closed between the 101 and the 10.
If you haven't watched the Saturday Night Live skit, "The Californians", you should.
What this means is that there are only a couple ways for people in the San Fernando Valley to get over the hill to the west side. The beach side.
Carmegeddon 1 was done last year, same closure, and the roads were beautifully empty. Most people stayed home. I did too, and read a lot!

With that in mind, I hope to have some free time this weekend, staying away from the beach and the major highways and do some blog upkeep and some fun stuff with my readers!
So stop by and check out some fun stuff!

9/30
Update:
So it's Sunday night and I'll be honest, I'm pretty tired. I think I'll get some reading done before bed, but otherwise, I think my list of bloggiesta activities is done. For now!
That doesn't mean I won't be doing numbers 1 and 6 sometime this week, so look out for a super fun post.
And reviews are on their way!

So thanks for joining me during my first Bloggiesta!
Have a wonderful week!
