My Saturdays are way more fun with some pretty Shelf Candy to look at! Can't help it! I see it? I like it? I buy it!
It's a problem. (well, only for my bank account!)
My Shelf Candy for this week is:
The Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes series by Laurie R. King
I see this series everywhere and have been meaning to pick it up. I like Sherlock Holmes and this series is supposed to be very good.
I usually stumble by the first book, set out on the table near the paperback mystery section. And I always want to pick it up.
What is it about the covers? The bright tones, the stained glass window theme, the mystery held within? All of the above!
Intrigue I say!
What do you think of these covers? Would you pick them up?
These are fantastic. True artistry. My favorite is A Letter of Mary. These books look interesting. I should give them a try for Mystery Monday. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThese are not books I would usually pick up but they are very unique and colorful. I like the design and how the colors catch your eye. Very nice choice!
ReplyDeletewow, those look great! I love how you can tell they all go together. Great pick and thanks for stopping by my Shelf Candy!
ReplyDeleteAwesome covers! I love how they look like stained glass - I haven't seen any other book look like that :) I love the Beekeepers Apprentice in particular.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Project to be Read :)
