Review:
Ok. Let's get this out of the way.

I'm a big Larissa Ione fan.
I read her first series, the Demonica series, and couldn't put it down. It remains one of my favorite paranormal romance series.
So when I found out she was starting a new series about the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, I was really excited.
And she didn't let me down.

This series is an extension of the Demonica series. It takes place in the same world, but with different characters. Honestly, you should start with the Demonica series, because it's just. that. awesome. and it's fun to check in with all of the characters in future books.

Limos, the only female horseman a.k.a Famine, is in a bit of trouble. She might be destined to be come Satan's bride. She might also be having feelings for a human! And she might, might, be the next horseman her crazy brother has set his sights on to break the seal and start the Apocalypse.

Family, right?

I loved Limos. She's dark, edgy and her journey from bad demon to good girl is an awesome ride. She is constantly battling her demon side with her more sympathetic side, her love for her brothers, her ideas of right and wrong. Arik is hot, strong, and incredibly patient and understanding. I loved how his faith in her never waivered.

The plot moves along fast, with lots of fun surprises. There is a lot of dark stuff happening too. We are talking about the four horsemen of the Apocalypse here people.

You can read this story without any previous knowledge of their world, but it's way more fun to take the time and at least read book one. (Ares, god of war's story)

Pick it up.
In fact, pick up the Demonica series too.
They're waiting for you.
