I was at my local bookstore, Vromans in Pasadena, CA for the signing. These ladies were gracious and ever so patient, each answering a load of questions. The panel went on for a long time and we loved every minute of it! My friend went with me and she wasn't familiar with any of these books, but totally wanted to buy them after hearing the panel!

  1. Never but I take the cover into consideration when deciding to buy either the paperback copy or hardback copy :)

  2. No. The cover is what catches my eye. It's the description that makes me buy it. :-)

  3. So, I kinda messed up on my twitter name, I typed it too fast. It's supposed to be @megannblackwell Usually I do buy a book if it has a good cover, I'm one of those people who judges the book by the cover even though I shouldn't! :)

  4. Sometimes, I'll buy a book based on its cover, but that's not the only reason that I'll splurge on it. The cover for me, is like the first impression of the book, then the synopsis on the inside flap or back of the book, and then the first chapter to see if you can easily find yourself immersing into to the book.

Thank you, for such a fantastic giveaway!

  6. I try really hard not to, but some covers are so beautiful and I am an artist....so sometimes I am attracted to covers and sometimes the book ends up being bad. I have read some books with horrible covers and ended up loving them. Example....Annie and the French Kiss. Not my favorite cover, but I fell in love with book.

  9. Truthfully, sometimes I do. But usually even if the cover attracts me, I have to make sure the synopsis sounds appealing.

  10. Sometimes I do, but most of the time the description has to sound as good as the cover looks. Thanks so much for this giveaway!

  12. When there is a spectacular cover, I am really drawn to it. And it the cover is so so, I usually don't read about the book. When the cover is great I read about the book and make up my mind as to whether to read it or not.

  13. I usually only buy books that i have already read and loved unless they're super cheap, then i might buy it based on the cover. I usually pick books by their covers first and then read the summaries.

  15. I have to admit that I do go by covers a lot, but if I read a review or something about the book that catches my attention, I'll get it

  16. Yes. I do. I admit it. A pretty cover jumps out and catches my attention before the reading the summery even happens.

  17. No, even though some covers are beautiful. I usually choose the books I purchase by my favorite authors.

  18. Sadly, I am very influenced by covers, but to my knowledge I have never bought a book solely based on the cover. The cover is the interest getter, but the blurb has to catch me too.

Thanks for participating in the hop and for the giveaway opportunity.

  19. I don't buy them based solely on their covers, but of course, it is what draws me to a book!

  20. Depends, but sometimes I do purchase a book because of the cover. Thanks for the giveaway! :)

  21. I am very swayed by the cover presented! But that isn't the ultimate way I decide, it simply makes me pick the book up. Then I go on to read the book flap. Another thing that catches my attention is the title!

    Thanks for the giveaway!
