Review:

Tiffany Reisz is killing me. Seriously. A slow and pleasure filled death.
Book Two in her "Original Sinners" series starts off a year after Book One ends. And a lot has happened.
I feel like I can't really talk about what happened in this book, without giving away too much about book one. So let me say this:

This sequel is fantastic. Soren is under investigation as he is in line to possibly get a promotion. In order for his secrets to be kept hidden, he arranges for Michael and Nora to be sent upstate to Griffin's home. If you remember from book one, Griffin and Soren do not like each other, but Nora and Griffin get along famously. So for the entire summer, Nora and Soren are apart.

Soren and his past take front row center. While I may not like Soren, I have a better understanding of his character after this book. Reisz does not shy away from uncomfortable topics and during one particular conversation between a reporter and Soren's sister, I felt especially gutted. But that's the beauty of Reisz's writing. Her characters are superbly flawed, complex and broken. But in the end they become masters of themselves.

The sex is hot, graphic and should be read with an open mind.

Nora is fantastic as ever, torn between who she is and who she wants. Griffin emerges as a warmer, friendlier character than in the last book and Michael is the perfect boy to bring everyone out of their shells.
I cannot wait for book three.

Rating 9: Ridiculously Awesome like Cookies and Ice Cream
